PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This course provides detailed instruction on how to structure and conduct facilitative meetings in the business setting.   It focuses on how to make meetings easier--regardless of a person’s role in the meeting--by using and directing the group’s energy to achieve the desired results

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES/LEARNING OUTCOMES: Learn the basics of facilitation: what facilitation means, the benefits of facilitative meetings and taking on a facilitative mindset, how to structure a facilitative meeting, the three essential components of facilitation, the specific roles in a meeting, the all-important planning stage before facilitating a meeting, how to make planning and agenda worksheets, and information management as applied to meeting facilitation.
